Great News From Turkey

Baris Kaya’s story tells of his amazing conversation from Islam to Christianity while studying in America. Now, he has returned to his home country of Turkey to spread the Gospel there. Here is an update from his work in Turkey!

Many of you have wondered how I am doing after the failed military coup in Istanbul. Thank you for your concern. I am fine; we were praying throughout the ordeal. I do ask your prayers for the families of the over 200 who died at the Ataturk airport and in the coup.

We visited a lot of new believers and those just discovering Christianity in five cities in Turkey; Everything was fine but tiring. The good news: Three people came to Christ! We are praising God for this harvest. Please pray for your new brothers and sister: a man from Burdur, a young man from Usak and a woman in Bilicik.

Please keep these people in your prayers and another who is open to the Gospel. We also met up with a missionary in Isparta and an American friend as well.

At my church, we have about ten people to baptize in September! Please remember these new believers.

Thank you!
